Created during an artist residency at the Zeitraum Racławicka Studio in Krakow, Poland, the installation "Forest of Consciousness" coalesced into a multi-panel body of work (polyptych) born through an act of gathering, assembling, and recontextualizing. Employing a technique of pictorial assemblage, the physical construction from separate panels replaced the unified canvas surface, yielding a structure that is simultaneously fragmented and interconnected. Throughout the creative process, the canvases underwent a continuous cycle of erasing, revealing, and concealing.

The individual panels composing the installation originated as independent creative exercises that had been set aside over the years—each harboring raw emotion, color experiments, or formal inquiries. The artistic act of collecting transformed these canvases into a disassembled "life diary," which was intensively re-worked to bring forth harmony, a shared language, and an internal logic.

This alignment was not forced; rather, it was a discovery of latent threads connecting disparate periods into the present moment. The connections mirrored a seamless unfolding without a clear origin—reflecting life itself as a collection of coincidences and random encounters. It serves as a visual representation of human connection: distinct elements integrating without a guiding hand, simply by virtue of sharing the same space, in an attempt to forge law, order, and hope to survive the surrounding chaos.

The work features a deliberate rejection of the traditional square frame. The installation’s frayed boundaries break past the classic frame, expanding organically across the white gallery wall like a living colony of a wild, inner forest. Floating against the dark, expressive background are "amulets"—delicate, white life-capsules hovering in the shadows. They appear as tiny fossils or miniature skeletons, meditating on the transience of life and the impermanence of the body. The embryonic figures within these amulets symbolize the soul—the fragments, fears, and scars of consciousness striving to survive in the dark. Utilizing symbolism that moves along the axis between the recognizable figurative and the surreal, the work reflects existence itself as a map of life, constantly emerging from an obscure source.
